Do I have to leave my current kinship to join?

No. We’re about building a community, and getting players together to have fun while raiding. We encourage players from various kinships to raid with us!

If I join, can I raid with my current kinship?

Yes. Absolutely! We don’t believe in restricting players in any way, shape, or form. You might have to manage raid locks if we plan to run older content.

Do I have to be an Australian to join?

No. Our members are from a variety of countries and timezones. In fact, we run raids for our members in both the Australian / Oceanic and US timezones.

How are raid locks managed?

Previously, raids in Lord of the Rings Online possessed raid locks. Raid locks have been removed from all raids except the current level cap raid Throne of the Dread Terror. We’re happy to work with you to manage locks.

Throne of the Dread Terror possesses raid locks on Tier 2 that reset weekly. A lock can be passed on to other players by the Raid Leader.

Big battle quests reset on a daily basis. Skirmish raid loot locks exist, and reset weekly.

What do you mean by “Possess reasonable equipment, legendary items, and virtues”?

In order to achieve raid content, you’re going to need decent armour, jewellery, and weapons, legendary items (LIs) that you’ve put some time into, and virtues that aren’t in the single digits.

Reasonable here’s the keyword. You can always work towards acquiring gear, improving your LIs, and raising your virtues.

Can you help me prepare for raids?

We’re happy to run content outside of our scheduled raids, and connect you with members who can offer advice to help you prepare for them.

We ask that you take some responsibility for preparation. Crafting, grinding out virtues, and running daily instances and quests for currency and legendary item upgrades are examples of things we can’t do for you.

Do you have a code of conduct?

Yes. It’s outlined on our Conduct page.

Why do you develop players?

We aim to constantly develop and improve the knowledge and skills of our Members to be as good as we can be.

In order to achieve content, you need to be willing to adapt, develop, and learn. This involves:

  • Asking questions.
  • Being open to feedback, and taking feedback and suggestions onboard.
  • Cooperation and working as part of a team.
  • Knowing your class.
  • Participating in discussions about ideas, game mechanics, strategies, tactics, and tips.
  • Sharing knowledge.

How do you develop players?

We work with you to develop your knowledge and skills in a co-operative, fun, and low-stress fashion. Helping you helps us achieve content, and have a great time!

Areas we help you develop include:

Development Description
Class Knowledge Know your skills.
Know your class trait trees.
Know which skills relate to area-of-effect damage, corruption removal, crowd control, interrupts, and single-target damage.
